I wasn’t there as a photographer. I was Active Duty Coast Guard and sent to work with US CBP during one of the big surges of arrivals crossing the border. I learned a lot from the experience and it’s heartbreaking to learn that the suffering continues. Thank you for your efforts to send help and share their stories. And yes, hope that we do!
